Teams had the chance to test their cars toady in preparation for the rally.
The stage, just over 4kms long, was set in forest between Stockdale and Briagalong. The weather gave us clear skies and the temperature was upwards of 30 degrees with full sunshine beaming down on teams.
The teams made good progress with their car setup. Eli Evans had initial “arguments” with his car, but after some changes he and the MINI were “good friends and became one again”. It’s an indication of the serious competitive nature Evans and many of the rally teams have brought with them.
